Behind every beautifully made uniform is a designer with vision — and for Katie Young, founder of Bespoke Textiles, that vision is built on three pillars: craftsmanship, sustainability, and soul.
Katie’s journey began in rural Somerset, where her early love of vintage clothing and forgotten fabrics sparked a lifelong commitment to reimagining fashion responsibly. Her philosophy was shaped by resourcefulness and respect — creating beauty not through excess, but through ingenuity and care.
Over the past 30 years, Katie has worked across London and Hong Kong, designing and sourcing for some of the world’s most respected heritage and luxury brands. Her creative direction has shaped uniforms and bespoke pieces for many prestigious clients.
A six-time award-winning designer, Katie has been recognised for her sustainability initiatives and craftsmanship, including as a finalist for Best Boutique Contract Uniform Supplier for the Royal Palaces.
At Bespoke Textiles, her work unites heritage-inspired design with conscious creation — blending timeless style with modern ethics. Each garment tells a story of care: from sourcing premium, sustainable materials to ensuring every piece is made to last and loved for years to come.
Katie continues to mentor and collaborate with the next generation of designers through her wider creative projects, inspiring a future where fashion and responsibility go hand in hand.
✨ Energy, authenticity, and excellence — that’s the Bespoke Textiles way.
