I absolutely loved this article because it’s great to see the #SundayTimesStyle Editor, #LorraineCandy is also on the same page about Christmas and how we can make it more sustainable.
Here’s my tips on buying items for Christmas.
Buy either pre-loved or vintage items, sharing them with someone consciously or thoughtfully that would benefit from those ‘hand-over’ items. Maybe finding something sustainably sourced from a second-hand shop that can be bought as a beautiful unique present?
I’m also consciously thinking about purchasing or gifting experiences and opportunities for connection, which in this social media and spread out world we are starved of quality time and quality experiences.
That’s how I wish Christmas to be for my friends and family.
Hope you’re inspired by the article too?!
